Cybersecurity
Firewalls only protect what sits behind them.
Your people work from job sites, kitchen tables, and hotel wifi. Most security budgets still assume everyone's in the building. We help you find the gap before an insurance underwriter or a customer finds it for you.
Where we sit
We don't sell security tools. That's the point.
Every assessment run by a security vendor arrives at the same conclusion, which is that you should buy their product. Ours lands wherever it lands.
What we look at
Two questions most companies can't answer.
Both of them show up on cyber insurance renewals now, and both are scored in the assessment.
The two that matter
- How is someone protected when they're not on your network? Traffic that never touches your office never touches your firewall. SASE and SSE move the inspection and filtering into the cloud so the policy follows the person instead of the building. Partial coverage almost always means coverage that depends on somebody remembering to switch the VPN on.
- Who's watching at two in the morning? Most intrusions start on a weekend. There's a real difference between alerts piling up in an inbox somebody reads on Monday and a service that can shut something down without waiting for you to answer the phone.
If you have internal IT, co-managed arrangements let them keep visibility instead of handing the whole thing over.
The risk of waiting
You find out during someone else's audit.
Insurance renewals and customer security reviews now ask how off-network traffic gets controlled. Working out your answer halfway through a questionnaire is an expensive way to learn it, and by then the deadline belongs to somebody else.
- Get the actual questionnaire or policy requirement in writing, then work backward from it
- Find out how traffic gets inspected for people working off your network
- Check whether that coverage reaches contractors and personal devices
- Work out what actually happens to an alert on a Saturday night

The assessment scores security next to four other areas, because in practice they're tangled together.
